Women have told us that some of the letters they receive sound a bit dull or boring. If you want to get a woman's attention make your letter happy and interesting! Tell her about yourself and where you live, what you like to do for fun, your goals and your ambitions, and especially tell her what you are looking for in a marriage partner... but most of all make it serious, or funny, or romantic. Write about your passions in life, if the subject of your letter excites you she will see your interest in the subject and it will be interesting to her as well. Write from your heart and the ladies will know what you are writing is true.

Women like to know lots of details so try to describe things in a romantic way so she can almost see and feel what it is that you are describing. Remember, she may be getting letters from other men. Some of the most popular women receive letters from more than 30 different men, but many of these men never travel to meet the ladies. Your first letter should always present a general description of yourself. This would include your age, height, weight, hair and eye color, your completion, hobbies, skills, family and any other details that you care to describe. It is recommended that you mention your occupation or the kind of work you do, and the place where you live. While corresponding try the best you can to make it easier for a lady to understand you. Avoid using slang, professional jargon and words that could be easily misunderstood.

Consider the language problems. This is not to say only to pick ladies who speak English, but just that you need to consider this when selecting who to write to. The language ability is shown as a rating from one to five, five being fluent, one being very little. Also remember, the ladies can learn English very quickly, if sufficiently motivated, as English is a much easier language than Russian. We know of hundreds of ladies that have come to their fiancee without good English and learned it in a very short time. If you write to a lady who doesn't speak English, it really does pay to translate your letters into Russian. It is important for the two of you to understand each other and not to have misunderstandings due to miscommunication.

Keep copies of the letters you send to the ladies in case you need to refresh your memory on what you have written before.

1. Be Smart: Write to as many women as possible. By writing many women you greatly increase your chances of success! The more attractive that a woman is, the more letters she will receive, so it is especially important to write to several ladies.

2. Plan your travel details right from the beginning: Unless you are willing to make the journey to meet your chosen lady, there is no real point in writing to a lady, so consider this when you start writing to her. If you make your plans in the beginning and share this with the ladies that you write to it will give you a very big advantage over other men who are writing to them. Some women become impatient and get tired of the writing and sometimes even question your sincerity and stop replying to your letters. Letter writing is fine, up to a point, until you've get to know her. At some point you have to meet her and decide, or someone else will do it for you and you will have lost her.

3. When deciding who to write to consider her location and think about your travel destinations. Plan to meet several ladies before you find the right one. If you pick ladies from the same city or area, then at least this will keep down the number of plane tickets you require.

4. Do not place a lot of emphasis on the woman's photo: Remember this is just amateur snapshots in most cases that she sent in to us. Take out your driver's license and look at your photo; is that really representative of how you look today? The point is that the woman in the photo may look quite different in real life, so don' t be too easily discouraged from writing to some of the women whose photos may not look perfect.

5. Read the lady's bio information. This information is there for a reason, you will be wasting your time as well as the lady's by responding to a woman whom you know you will not be compatible with.

6. Be Honest: Honesty is the best policy & lies are always discovered. Most of these women are highly educated and they are looking for sincere, honest men who will treat them with love and respect, please don't make the mistake of thinking that they are ignorant or that you can treat them badly, after all, this is why they do not want to marry many of the men from their own country.

7. Include good photos: Always include a photo of yourself. Send her the very best photo of yourself that you can find. If you don't have a good one, consider having a professional one made. Don't make the mistake of writing to a beautiful woman and sending her a poor quality photo of yourself. You want to know what she looks like right?...Well, she is as curious about you as you are about her, so try to get her attention by sending her something she will be attracted to, an old, poor quality photo is not the best thing to send to her.
